These Terms govern your use of the Connects University website, mobile application and related student, teacher, community and assignment features. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Who may use Connects University
Connects University is designed for students, teachers, mentors and education representatives. You must provide accurate account information, use the role that reflects your real relationship with an institution and meet any minimum-age or permission requirements that apply to you.
Your account
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your password secure. Do not share, sell or impersonate another person's account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Community rules
You must not use Connects University to harass, threaten, deceive or exploit others; publish unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative or dangerously misleading content; distribute malware or spam; violate privacy; manipulate engagement; or interfere with platform security and availability.
Assignments and learning files
Only upload files that are relevant to the assignment and that you have permission to share. Assignment limits, supported formats and compression may be applied to protect performance and storage. Submitted files may appear in the Campus feed and may be viewed or downloaded by the assigned teacher and authorized administrators as described in the interface.
Teachers and students remain responsible for academic instructions, assessment decisions, originality and compliance with their institution's rules. Connects University does not guarantee grades, acceptance of a submission or uninterrupted availability.
Connects Freelance projects
Use the marketplace for legitimate services and learning through real project work. Do not request impersonation, completion of assessed work on another student's behalf, applicant fees, misleading reviews or illegal services. New and edited job briefs require moderation before publication.
Clients and freelancers should agree on scope, deliverables, budget and deadlines before accepting a proposal. An accepted proposal creates a project workspace. A completed status records client approval of delivery; it does not confirm payment. Payments, escrow, withdrawals and refunds are coming soon and are not provided in this version.
Upload only materials you are entitled to share. Client reviews must reflect the actual completed project. Campus achievement sharing requires the client's permission for the review to appear in the feed. Project cancellation requests and disputes are reviewed by platform administrators; these controls do not transfer money or decide financial refunds.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you create. By posting or submitting content, you give Connects University a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, optimize, display and deliver that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. You confirm that your content does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
Platform content and intellectual property
The Connects University name, brand, interface and original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. Except for normal use of the service, you may not copy, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit them without written permission.
Moderation and account action
We may review, restrict or remove content and may suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, follow legal requirements or maintain platform security. During beta, features may change, pause or be removed.
Third-party services
The platform relies on third-party services such as authentication, database, storage and hosting providers. Their availability and terms may also affect parts of the service. Links to external websites do not mean Connects University endorses or controls them.
Disclaimer and limitation
Connects University is provided on an “as available” basis during beta. We work to keep it reliable and secure but cannot promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Connects University is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform develops. Continued use after revised Terms are published means you accept the updated version, subject to applicable law.
